Graphics

Graphics adds to the presentation message. The message (content) must be the most important part of any PowerPoint presentation. A picture is worth a thousand words but only if it is the right picture. The designer must establish an information relationship between graphics & content.

When adding graphics to presentations the presenter must first determine the important points of the content message and then only use the graphic images to: Clarify, Instruct, Inspire, Elaborate.

Flush left alignment is the first choice for readability in electronic presentations – including graphics. At times you may find a need to use flush right alignment. To the right or left but never Mr. In Between.

Remember presentation design has nothing to do with decorating a rectangular space.

Avoid graphic eye candy!
